Can I take Gababentin for the night instead of Pregbalin?

Hello, I take pregbalin 150 once a day for the night. For pain in restless legs and I did not notice, I ran out of the last leaf and today I can not take the drug at night when I have been taking it for 4 months. I have a question before I took gababentin and I was in the home medicine cabinet 300g. Can I take gababentin for the night instead of pregbalin 150.

No, Pregabalin and gabapentin are not equivalents. These are drugs from the same therapeutic group that are used to treat neuropathic pain, including restless legs. Both drugs act on the nervous system, but they have slightly different chemical compositions and may have differences in effectiveness and tolerability in different patients. If you cannot take Pregabalin overnight and you have Gabapentin in your home medicine cabinet, it is best to consult your doctor to determine the appropriate dose of Gabapentin as a replacement. The dosage of Gabapentin may differ from that of Pregabalin, so it is important to get accurate dosage guidance from your doctor.
