I have breast inflammation, I feed my son all the time. The doctor prescribed me injections of biofuroxime 2 times a day. I wanted to ask if I can safely breastfeed my son while taking this antibiotic?

Cefuroxime (the active ingredient in Biofuroxime) is excreted in breast milk in very small amounts and no significant side effects have been observed in infants whose mothers took it. This drug can be used by women who are breastfeeding.
