Good morning, the doctor prescribed me the antibiotic Auglavin PPH 1 g 1op, ds2x1 for 7 days and Lacidofil 2x1 tabl. I would like to know if you can take this antibiotic after eating and drinking your morning coffee / tea or is it better to wait, for example, 1h? Should Lacidofil be taken immediately after swallowing the antibiotic or should I wait some time? Thank you in advance for the information

To minimize the occurrence of possible gastrointestinal intolerance and optimize the absorption of amoxicillin with clavulanic acid, the product should be taken at the beginning of a meal. So it would be best to take an antibiotic at the very beginning of breakfast - coffee or tea do not affect the effectiveness of the drug. Lacidofil is best taken at least 2 hours after the antibiotic. Here you can compare the prices of Lacidofil in online pharmacies and order it with home delivery or collection at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/42092/lacidofil-kapsulki/apteki I attach links to helpful entries: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-laczyc-leki-z-jedzeniem https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/probiotyki-czy-warto-stosowac-leki-oslonowe
