What antibiotic to take instead of Klabax?

What antibiotic to take instead of Klabax? I took 5 tablets of this antibiotic because of a cough (suspected pertussis). With a cough helped, but the stomach is in a tragic state. After taking the tablet for 6 hours, it is impossible to function normally. In addition, it affects the psyche and also in a tragic way. Bitter taste in the mouth all the time, insomnia, nausea. Weighing 44kg I got a dose of 500 twice a day, bravo to the doctor. After reading the leaflet, I probably have more knowledge and I know that this antibiotic is not for me.

The change of antibiotic should take place after consulting a doctor. It happens that patients have a problem with tolerating this type of drugs and then the doctor - based on the diagnosis and assessment of the patient's health - prescribes another treatment. There may be situations in which the recommended dose of Klabax is 2 tablets per day of 500 mg. The question about the legitimacy of such treatment should be referred to the doctor who conducted the study and proposed such a dosage of the drug. When using antibiotics, you should always implement probiotics that support the functioning of the digestive tract.
