Does Hexatiab kill beneficial lactic acid bacteria and can it be used prophylactically before going to the pool?

Hello, I have a question about the action of hexatiab. I read that it is used as an adjunct in the treatment of bacterial, fungal and viral infections. Does this preparation adversely affect lactobacilli, i.e. kill them? And can it be used, for example, every 3 days before the pool or should you take the whole cycle taking every day? Thank you in advance for your reply. Best regards

Hexatiab does not have a bactericidal effect, it does not kill beneficial bacteria in the genital tract. The preparation can be used, for example, for 3 days before visiting the pool. Hexatiab has a protective effect. The ingredients contained in it provide a protective barrier to prevent the development of bacterial, fungal or viral infections. The protective coating also provides adequate hydration, prevents abrasions during intercourse, etc. Therefore, you can use the preparation prophylactically, before visiting the pool. Here you can compare prices of Hexatiab in online pharmacies and order the preparation with home delivery or collection at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/35720/hexatiab-kapsulki-dopochwowe/apteki I also enclose a link to a helpful entry: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/probiotyki-ginekologiczne
