According to the manufacturer: ". Due to the persistent absorption of buprenorphine from the skin after removal of the patch, excretion is slower than after intravenous use." Side effects can last up to 5-7 days. Observed side effects should be reported to your doctor. You may need treatment to support the withdrawal process.
