Reimbursement indications for Xarelto 20 mg (applies to the drug available in packs of 14 tablets): 1. Treatment of deep vein thrombosis in people over 18 years of age; 2. Prevention of recurrence of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism - after acute deep vein thrombosis in people over 18 years of age; 3. Treatment of pulmonary embolism and prevention of recurrent deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in adults. Xarelto 20 mg (14 tablets) is fully refundable for seniors 75+. The decision to issue a reimbursed prescription is made by a doctor on the basis of relevant medical documentation. The drug is currently not reimbursed for prophylaxis related to atrial fibrillation.
