Dear Sir/Madam, Opzelura cream, which is the first effective drug used in the treatment of vitiligo, has been approved by the EMA for therapy in the European Union. Will the ointment be available in Poland or will it be refunded? Please reply.

At the moment, the drug has not yet been registered in Poland. Here you can check if the drug is registered: https://rejestrymedyczne.ezdrowie.gov.pl/rpl/search/public It is also worth browsing the bulletins of the Office for Registration of Medicines: https://bip.urpl.gov.pl/pl/biuletyny-i-wykazy/produkty-lecznicze/2023 Perhaps the drug can be purchased in the targeted import mode. You can read more about the whole procedure here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/import-docelowy-jak-sprowadzic-lek-z-zagranicy

To @Magda:
Yes, it is true that Opzelura (ruxolitinib) will not be reimbursed in Poland. Opzelura is the first approved drug for the treatment of vitiligo in adults and children aged 12 years and older, but the Ministry of Health has decided not to cover it with reimbursement in our country.
Is it true that Opzelura will not be reimbursed in Poland? Best regards
To Dag🤗, please write to me how your sister gets this prescription in Germany
Good morning
to DAGA - congratulations on the progress in the treatment of the disease, you may need a little more time for a lasting effect.
I'm in the process of arranging a prescription and purchase in Germany with my doctor. DAGA, if you may ask/ask for a hint - how can a doctor in Germany write a prescription for a drug with such reimbursement.

To @Anula:
The drug is Opzelura registered in Poland since August 2023, however, it is still unavailable in pharmacies in Poland.
As soon as we have any information, it will be posted here:
Hello, I wanted to ask about the drug oplezura, is it available in Poland or can it be ordered from abroad
Good morning
I used this cream, the spots disappeared on my face, unfortunately they came back again. You probably need to use it all the time when it reappears. My sister lives in Germany and there she only pays 10 euros for it on prescription .
I don't think there will be such a refund in Poland, which is a pity
Best regards
Emti and how about it?
To Majacaplamy- thank you for the information. Maybe I'll be able to get a😒 prescription
Opzelure buys in Germany958€
on the basis of a Polish paper prescription issued by a dermatologist.
Not every doctor wants to issue even privately.
When buying in Germany, the condition is to send the prescription to the pharmacy and indicate the address to which they have to send it, but it must be in Germany outside the borders they do not send (I gave the address of friends). It's a bit of a nuisance, but I've already ordered a third tube to do.
I bought it and I use it, I hope there will be results
I am also waiting for this drug.
Today I visited a dermatologist at the National Health Fund asking him to issue a prescription for Opzelura. Unfortunately, the doctor said that he does not see it in the drug database and can not issue a prescription. Everything indicates that the drug is not yet registered in Poland.
Is the ointment already available in Poland?
Please help in downloading the opzelury
I have already received this medicine for vitiligo. Twice a day lubricates. In Germany, my Krankenkasse covered me
I live in the USA, the drug here is also only on prescription and most insurance (if not all) refuses to cover at least part of the cost - the ointment costs from $ 1980-$ 2400 to you is a barrier for many people in need. The treatment is supposedly very effective and after a month you can see the changes and after 3 to 6 the pigmentation returns (acquired). My doctor somehow gained access for me in some promotion with a huge discount. I am very optimistic about the treatment seeing the amazing effects presented by my dermatologist. It must be available and refuded in Poland, I keep my fingers crossed.
hello, I see that Opzelura cream is already registered in Poland, does it mean that you can already buy it at the pharmacy?
I would also like to hear answers to these questions. Is there a page where you can view active drug applications for registration in a given country, in this case, for example, Polish? Have Polish institutions already made any steps in this direction? Best regards
