Hello. The doctor prescribed his 8-year-old daughter Rupurix 10mg for allergies. In the leaflet it says that the drug is intended for use from 12 years. Can I still give it to my daughter? I would like to add that it weighs 28kg. Thank you and best regards

If the doctor thinks it is necessary, you can give the medicine to your child. The dosage and safety of the drug in children under 12 years of age has not been sufficiently studied, however, the doctor based on his clinical experience may recommend the use of the drug outside the manufacturer's indications. We wrote more about it here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leczenie-off-label-poza-wskazaniami The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to book a medicine in a selected stationary pharmacy and pick it up upon presentation of the prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/98943/rupurix-tabletki/apteki
