Should I take any liver support medication after taking the antibiotic Amotaks?

Hello. After taking the Antibiotic Amotaks 1g for 30 days 3x a day, should I take any liver support drugs? I will add that after completing the antibiotic, a yellow raid was formed on the tongue, which does not want to go down.

One of the possible side effects of the antibiotic Amotaks may be liver damage, but this is a relatively rare event. If you have not had liver problems before and have not taken other medicines that may affect liver function, then you will most likely not need to use liver support medicines after you have finished treatment with the antibiotic Amotaks. As for the yellow raid on the tongue, it can be caused by various factors, m.in. fungal infection after long-term antibiotic therapy. However, it is difficult for an outsider to propose a specific method of proceeding on the basis of such a short description. I encourage you to make an appointment with your doctor who will adjust the treatment according to your current clinical condition. Certainly, it is also worth taking care of thorough oral and tongue hygiene, you can also rinse with a diluted hydrogen peroxide solution.
