Good morning, I use dermitopic ointment from the recommendation of a dermatologist for atopic facial dermatitis twice a day for over a week, unfortunately it is worse than before I started using the ointment. The face is red and constantly burning and there is a feeling of heat and burning. The doctor ordered to use for a year according to the leaflet. There are also red burning cakes on the face. Should I continue to use the drug for such symptoms?

Lubricate further, I also had so skin that it was red as if the vessels dilated in the cakes whole. In a few days everything will die and you will be satisfied, because it helps with ailments. It's just that some people react at the beginning to this ointment. Best regards

At this stage, please do not stop treatment, especially without consulting your doctor. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, skin irritation at the application site, burning sensation and itching are very common, usually mild, side effects of Dermitopic. Side effects occur most often in the first or second week of treatment. Their severity and incidence decrease with continued treatment. Since Dermitopic is a prescription-only medicine, the duration of therapy and the possible termination of treatment should be decided by a dermatologist. Any modifications in therapy, including discontinuation of the drug, should be made after consultation with the attending physician acquainted in detail with your state of health.
