What to do if after Amotaks and Amoksiklava there is no improvement with purulent angina?

Good morning! Since Sunday for purulent angina I took Amotaks Dis 1g - however, instead of improvement there was a significant deterioration, so yesterday I went again to the doctor, who changed my drug to Amoksiklav 875 + 125. I have already taken 3 tablets and still no improvement, and a white coating also appeared on the other side of the throat. Is there still a chance for improvement or is it time for a change again?

Amotaks Dis contains amoxicillin and Amoksiklav amoxicillin with clavulanic acid. The compositions of these drugs are so similar that it is difficult to expect that Mrs. Amoksiklav will help with the ineffectiveness of Amotaks.
