Is it possible to replace Acenocoumarol with Eliquis?

I am 75 years old.7 years ago heart surgery after a heart attack, 3 bypasses and a mechanical valve. I take acenocoumarol all the time according to the current INR result. Currently, I have to take chemo that due to prostate cancer, but acenocumarol is a contraindication for chemo treatment. I feel very good.Is it possible to replace it np.na Eliqius 5 mg. I cordially greet and look forward to information.

Eliquis is not equivalent to Acenocoumarol, so its use is decided by the attending physician. In my opinion, switching to Eliquis may be beneficial, it is a newer generation drug with anticoagulant effect, at which it is not necessary to control the INR result. However, your doctor must decide which medicine is compatible with chemotherapy for you. If you need to consult a doctor online, you can use the teleadvice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
