Does Moloxin affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception Atywia Daily?

I am taking Atywia Daily and have currently received the antibiotic Moloxin for sinusitis. Do I have to use additional contraceptive protection?

Additional protection is not necessary when using Moloxin and Atywia Daily. According to the manufacturer of the drug Moloxin: Clinical studies have not shown any interaction of moxifloxacin with concomitantly administered oral contraceptives. In vitro studies using human cytochrome P-450 enzymes confirm these observations. Based on the results of the research, the occurrence of metabolic interactions associated with this enzyme system is unlikely.
