Urine containers are used to collect urine samples for diagnostic testing. A distinction is made between sterile and non-sterile containers. Ordinary, non-sterile containers are used for general urinalysis, and sterile containers are used for taking samples for microbiological testing (culture) to determine the presence of bacteria in the urine. For infants and newborns, there are special pouches for sampling (there are two variants - for girls and boys). Urine bags are products designed for people who have trouble urinating on their own. Depending on the patient's needs, bags with a valve or for lying people can be used.
