The skin is the largest human organ and allows the reception of sensations of touch, pain and heat. Being a barrier separating the body from the external environment, it prevents the body from drying out and the penetration of microorganisms. Skin diseases betray information not only about external, but also about internal problems of the body. These include, m.in, acne, ringworm of the skin, herpes, chickenpox and shingles, rosacea, warts, psoriasis, AD, as well as vitiligo and albinism.
