Is it better to take 2 times a day for 250 mg or 2 times a day for 500 mg of calcium dobezylate, which is in Rostil?
Will Rostil taken 2x a day for 500 mg bring better results than the one used 2x a day for 250 mg.? I know that you can use up to 1000 mg per day, but is taking the highest dose longer is not harmful? I am bothered by varicose veins of the lower legs and I plan to buy the drug for a few months.

The usual recommended dose is 500 mg (2 tablets) to 1000 mg (4 tablets) per day, i.e. 2 tablets of 250 mg 1-2 times a day. Therefore, a dose of 2 x 500 mg is appropriate, and 2x 250 mg may be too low and will not bring the expected therapeutic effect. If you do not want to take 2 tablets of 250 mg of Rostil, you can replace it with the recently available Rostil Max, which contains 500 mg of the active substance.
