Is it possible that Petit Drill syrup in a 2-month-old baby has experienced vomiting and lack of appetite?

Hello, the pediatrician prescribed my two-month-old son Petit drill for cough only in doses of 2ml twice a day, since I gave him syrup he has vomiting and does not want to eat is it possible that it is because of this syrup? Can it be too high a dose for such a small child?

There is no information that Petit Drill syrup can cause such side effects. The dosage of syrup is suitable for a 2-month-old baby. Perhaps these symptoms are caused by a disease/infection (sometimes the cough itself can also cause vomiting in toddlers). If vomiting and lack of appetite do not go away within 2 days, you should urgently contact your pediatrician.
