Is the growth of the endometrium with the drug Cyclo-Progynova normal?

Cyclo-progin and endometrial growth Good morning. Before the use of cyclo-progin, my endometrium was 1.5 cm. I'm just at the beginning of therapy. After 5 days of taking only white pills, my lower abdomen hurt strongly. I went for an ultrasound and the endometrium grew to 7.5 mm after these few tablwtkach. Does this mean that the drug works too hard and too fast?

The thickness of the endometrium depends on the phase of the cycle and its increase at the initial stage of using hormone replacement therapy should not be alarming. This may be due to the fact that you will observe spotting or bleeding. If the situation will be repeated in subsequent cycles of taking tablets - then you should consult a doctor. Further diagnostics may be necessary. I found this information in the literature: "When using HRT, every second patient (up to 60%) periodically develops abnormal bleeding and spotting, especially during the first few months of therapy. Therefore, it is advisable to perform an ultrasound examination before administering hormones " "If an endometrium with a width of more than 4 mm is found in the TVS examination, it is advisable to perform a progesterone test. a. If the progesterone test is positive, we perform the ultrasound examination again. If the width of the endometrium is 4 mm, invasive diagnosis should be considered before using hormone therapy. b. If the progesterone test is negative, the ultrasound should be performed again. If the endometrium with a width of 4 mm is visible> invasive diagnostics should be performed. In women under 54 years of age, a prior pregnancy test should be considered."
