Hello, is the yellow, odorless, unabundant vaginal discharge of viscous consistency a cause for concern? No pain during intercourse, itching, possible occasional slight burning during urination. I read that the yellow color of the secretion may mean trichomoniasis, but the consistency and smell of vaginal discharge are completely different from those accompanying it. Such fears only take place for a few days, should I wait or go to the doctor? (I've been using hormonal contraception for a few years, if that would matter.)

Burning during urination may be associated with a urinary tract infection, it does not indicate a vaginal infection. If you do not experience intense symptoms, there is no need to visit a doctor urgently, although it would be best to perform a bacteriological urine test and a vaginal swab. We write about how to prepare for a urine test in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-przygotowac-sie-do-badania-moczu
