Good morning, I have a question: if someone uses hormone replacement therapy with testosterone (injections of Testosteronm Prolongatum Jelfa) and at the same time takes various supplements to support liver cleansing, eg milk thistle, will it not cause that testosterone will be metabolized faster in the liver and excreted from the body? And the second question: will the use of the sauna and heavy sweating not have the same effect that testosterone will be quickly excreted? Thank you for your reply

To the best of my knowledge, there is no confirmed information that milk thistle intake affects testosterone metabolism. Testosterone metabolites are excreted in the urine in about 90%. In contrast, 6% of the administered dose is excreted in the faeces in an unbound form. Therefore, it is not possible for it to be excreted through the skin while using the sauna.
