Could I harm my baby if I used Sachol while breastfeeding?
Several times at the turn of 10 hours I used sachable gel on the sore palate, I swallowed part of the gel. During this time, I fed a month-old baby 3 times. How much could I harm the child? Should you take a break from breastfeeding now? Give formula milk?

The salicylates present in Sachol are excreted in milk, but it is believed that the occasional use of drugs with this component topically (on the oral mucosa), even if you have swallowed a small amount of the drug, is not associated with a significant health risk for the infant. There is no need to stop breastfeeding — the amount of medicine in milk is minimal. It is worth observing the child's health and if you notice abnormalities, consult a pediatrician.
