Can Ketrel be given to an 11-year-old child with Asperger's syndrome?

Ketrel is not approved for the treatment of patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including Asperger's syndrome. It happens, however, that the treatment is selected not on the basis of the product leaflet and the manufacturer's indications, but rather on the basis of the doctor's experience (the so-called off-label application: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leczenie-off-label-poza-wskazaniami). However, if Ketrel has not been prescribed by a doctor, it should not be used.
