Can my pharmacist dispense a higher dose of Concerta than the prescription?

If I have been prescribed concerta 18mg 3 packs, will the pharmacist give me one pack of 36mg instead of two 18mg packs?

Today we received information from the manufacturer that a new shipment of Concerta in a dose of 18 mg has already reached pharmaceutical wholesalers (m.in. Neuca). You can now contact pharmacies to order the drug: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/19569/concerta-tabletki-o-przedluzonym-uwalnianiu/apteki?pvid=83727

Your pharmacist cannot dispense a higher dose (36 mg) than the one prescribed on the prescription (18 mg). If the situation were the opposite, the pharmacist may dispense a lower dose and dispense proportionally more packs of the drug. You will need to get a new prescription from your doctor.

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
