According to the Summary of Product Characteristics: "The recommended usual dose in children is 20 mg/kg/day in divided doses administered every 8 hours. For bronchitis and pneumonia, a dose of 20 mg/kg/day should be used in 3 divided doses. In the case of more severe infections, otitis media and infections caused by less sensitive bacteria, a dose of 40 mg/kg/day in divided doses is recommended. The maximum daily dose is 1 g." From the above information, it follows that for a child weighing 7.6 kg, the dose of the antibiotic Ceclor ranges from 152mg to 304mg per day in divided doses, depending on the complaint. When giving a child 2x3.5ml of Celcor 125, the daily dose is 175mg and is within the range of doses recommended by the manufacturer. Doses of antibiotics for children are selected individually, the doctor when determining the dosage is guided by both recommendations and knowledge and experience.
