Good morning, I would like to ask about blood collection by vacuum method. At collection points in my city, ladies do not change the needle holder and use one for all patients. When I asked why they didn't change, they said it didn't touch anything. I would like to ask whether this practice is generally used and considered safe? They also do it in the hospital, where there are probably some checks.

I am afraid that with this question you should report to the diagnostic point where blood is taken. The pharmacist is not authorized to do so. You may be interested in the content of our article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-przygotowac-sie-do-badania-krwi
