How long should Biseptol be used for urinary tract infection?
The doctor prescribed me biseptol 960 for cystitis for three days with the possibility of extension to 5 if it did not pass. Is it not too short time because in the leaflet writes 10 days. In urine tests I came out b a lot of bacteria and leukocytes 500

In the Summary of Product Characteristics it can be found that in urinary tract infections Biseptol is usually used for 10-14 days. However, your doctor may, based on your own knowledge and experience, recommend the use of a medicine other than that usually recommended. In case of doubt or lack of improvement after 7 days of therapy, it is worth seeking medical advice again.
