If it is only a runny nose, a topical preparation can be used. In the case of a watery, flowing runny nose and a swollen nose, it can be a spray containing oxy - or xyl-metazolin (m.in. Nasivin, Nasic, Acatar, etc.). It can be used up to a maximum of 7 days, 3x a day. If the discharge in the nose is dense, residual, not able to blow out, a better solution will be to use a spray with a solution of sea salt (hypertnoic) and, for example, a herbal preparation that helps to thin out the runny nose (e.g. Sinupret, Zatoxin). Inhalations, e.g. from saline or one with the addition of ectoine, will also work. In addition, you can give supplements that support the body in the fight against infection - vit. C with rutoside, syrup with elderberry. In case of fever and pain, paracetamol can be given. In the fight against infection, rest, getting enough sleep, proper hydration of the body are also of great importance.
