Concerta and Asertin are prescription drugs. If such use of medicines has been ordered by the prescriber, please follow the dosage instructions given. The listed doses of Concerta and Asertin are used in children aged 14 years. There are reports that methylphenidate (the active substance of Concerty) may inhibit the metabolism of sertraline (Asertin), therefore during therapy combined with these drugs, it may be necessary to adjust the dose of preparations and assess their plasma concentration. This is usually the case when side effects or their severity are observed.
