Preductal MR is a prescription-only drug and the length of its use is decided by the doctor who prescribed it. Preductal MR contains trimetazidine, whose action is based on the protection of cells against the effects of ischemia and hypoxia. The preparation is used in the symptomatic treatment of stable angina in adults. Usually, one tablet of the drug is given twice a day with a meal.
