Good morning, if I'm just starting to take contraceptive patches and at the first sticking there is a delay of 12 hours and it is another day of menstruation, does it change anything? I just got my period at 10 p.m. and I didn't have the opportunity to stick it then and I would stick it the next day at 9 o'clock or would the complete safety before pregnancy be the same? do I have to do it the day before when sticking another one? what does it look like? Please reply quickly and Thank you

It was still the 1st day of menstruation, as no more than 24 hours had passed since the start of the bleeding. Protection is preserved from the first patch. If, for example, you observed bleeding on Saturday at 10 p.m., and you glued the first patch on Sunday at 9 a.m., the patch should be replaced next week on Sunday morning, the next one again on the next Sunday morning, after the 3rd patch - a week break and a new package again on Sunday morning, etc. Therefore, it does not count from the day of the week when the bleeding occurred, and from the day of the week when you actually glued the patch.
