Usually, one application of Infectoscab is sufficient. The cream should be left on the skin for at least 8 hours, e.g. overnight. In order for the treatment to be effective, bathing in both the bath and the shower should be avoided at this time. If you wash your hands within these eight hours, the cream should be reapplied to your hands and wrists. The same applies to other places treated with cream (buttocks, genital area). After at least eight hours, you should take a shower or wash your skin with soap and water. A single application of the cream is usually sufficient for the successful completion of treatment, provided that the above guidelines are followed. However, in cases of persistent or recurrent infection, it may be necessary to repeat treatment after 14 days. If, despite the correct use of the drug, the symptoms persist, you should see your general practitioner.
