Hi I have a question I got this azycin for a child aged 6 years twice for 5 ml. Isn't that too much?

The dosage of the drug is adequate. Usually, in upper and lower respiratory tract infections, otitis media and skin and soft tissue infections (except erythema migrans), the total dose is 30 mg/kg, or 10 mg/kg once daily for 3 days. Thus, a child weighing about 20 kg can take 5 ml of suspension, similarly with a weight of about 25 kg can take 6.25 ml of suspension per day. These types of means are available in the pharmacy without a prescription.
