The doctor changed my insulin from Humulin to Ryzodeg and Liprolog. I have sugar 255 mg / dl after breakfast - should it be so?

The doctor changed me humulin m30 in doses of 40x100 to ryzodeg 40x20. For this I use liprolog 30 for dinner. I have after three days of use sugar 199,after breakfast 255. How can I reduce it? Do you keep taking.

In the case of a change in the insulin preparation, it is worth giving the body a little more time than three days. Most often, the body "saturates" with new insulin after about a week of use. Only then can you think about changing the dosage and consult your doctor to change the doses (if you have constant doses of insulin). Unfortunately, I do not know what the dosage or 40x20 in the case of Ryzodeg means. How many units do you use at what time of day? Wasn't it 40 units a day 2 times a day? In addition, it is worth answering the questions: 199 mg / dl is sugar on an empty stomach, after eating, after what exactly eating, how much time from eating (1h or maybe 2h)? 255 mg / dL after breakfast, that is, 2 hours after breakfast? What did you eat for breakfast? Maybe it is worth modifying this breakfast a bit? If it was, for example, cereals on milk, replace it with cereals with yogurt and a source of fat - e.g. nuts or peanut butter? Do you regularly change the needle in the pen, or does nothing flow out from under the skin after the drug? Do you not give insulin all the time to the same place, but rotate the place of administration? Insulin may not be absorbed well when you administer the medicine in place of adhesion. What do other measurements look like? Based on 2 results from the meter, it is difficult to make any decisions. I encourage you to take more measurements at different times of the day and keep a diary of self-control. I leave a link to the video related to the topic:
