For how many days can I use Tribiotic ointment and how many times a day? Can calendula ointment and Tribiotic ointment be used interchangeably? How many times a day can calendula ointment be used? I am enrolled for a visit to a dermatologist. Unfortunately, I have to wait for her until January. Now these skin lesions hurt and burn me a lot. After a night on the reddened places I have a kind of white mesh, but when I wash my face then the redness intensifies and hurts. I have it on the nose and chin, but on the nose only redness and on the chin such as red pustules. For me, it is rather not an allergic reaction because it does not itch, it burns and hurts. Can you recommend me a hypoallergenic moisturizer? Can I apply it at all? Ideally, it should be a cream that is relatively affordable and not with urea content because it does not help me at all. There is a lot of time left until the visit to the dermatologist and unfortunately I have to function with it somehow. The worst is after eating then it hurts and bakes me a lot. Lichen (or more precisely lichen planus) is an autoimmune disease that requires specialized treatment (m.in glucocorticosteroids). I guess that in your case it is about another skin lesion associated with redness, itching, rash (eg impetigo infectious). The background of such lesions can be both bacterial, fungal and allergic. Without seeing the changes, I can not choose a treatment that will be effective and safe. The use of topical antibiotics is the subject of great controversy, however, due to the wide composition of Tribiotic ointment, it can be effective. Calendula ointment can also have a beneficial effect due to its light antibacterial effect and the very fact of lubricating and caring for irritated skin.
