Are there drugs for hypertension that do not cause a drop in blood sugar?

Are there drugs for hypertension that do not cause a drop in blood sugar? Polpril, Lorista, Nebilet, cardiolopin, Tanaxum are drugs that cause sugar drops even though it is not written in the leaflets of all of them. In my case, these were drops every hour to the value of nadczo and after exertion to 60.Polpril caused a drop to 47. People do not measure sugar and do not know that often weakness after these drugs or the desire for sweets are drops in sugar.

There are many drugs for hypertension that should not, as a rule, lower blood glucose. However, if in your case it very often happens that drugs from different therapeutic groups cause such an effect, then in my opinion it may be a question for a diabetologist and a reason to analyze your entire therapy and diagnosis for glucose tolerance disorders. Unfortunately, I am not able to indicate in the dark preparations that will not lead to such a situation, since it is theoretically caused by drugs that, as a rule, should not cause such an action. Therefore, I encourage you to verify whether you use the glucometer correctly - e.g. whether you do not measure the level of sugar from the finger on which the disinfectant remained. It is also worth recording the circumstances of each measurement (intervals from the meal, composition of the meal, physical activity, whether there are symptoms of low sugar) - keep a diary of self-monitoring of blood glucose and pressure. This is a question and a problem to discuss with your doctor, who will look at all your therapy and order appropriate tests. The problem may also lie outside of medication and perhaps something is happening in the body that is currently being missed and not related to the drug. It is difficult to say, so I encourage you to consult a diabetologist.
