Does Nasometin work the same as Xylometazoline?

I want to ask if Nasometin can cause rebound congestion like xylometazoline? I have a problem with ear trabkami for years and niebchce to puff up after this drug even more. Does it cause such a risk? Maybe it's better to take something that doesn't work locally?

Nasometin, containing in its composition the steroid mometasone has a completely different mechanism of action than preparations containing xylometazoline and therefore does not cause a rebound effect in the form of edema, nasal congestion and drug runny nose. In most patients, Nasometin does not cause side effects, however, quite common events include: headache, nosebleeds in people with polyps, sneezing, pain in the nose and throat. Nasometin is only available with a prescription, but Nasometin Control is available without a prescription, it can be used with diagnosed allergic rhinitis without consulting a doctor for a period of no more than 3 months. If the ailments are limited to rhinitis, perhaps a topical steroid is enough - systemic drugs carry more side effects occurring not only in the nasal mucosa, i.e. drowsiness, dryness of mucous membranes.
