Can Ryeqo be used during menopause?

Ryeqo is a preparation indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of uterine fibroids in adult women of childbearing potential. According to the information available in the Summary of Product Characteristics, discontinuation of treatment should be considered when the patient enters menopause, as uterine fibroids are known to resolve after the onset of menopause. The use of Ryeqo is not prohibited during menopause. However, the decision on the legitimacy and safety of using Ryego in a woman during menopause, i.e. outside the period in which it is indicated, is made on the basis of the individual state of health of the patient.
