GOOD MORNING. I read a doctor who thinks that all metformin drugs make diabetes worse, is that possible?

I do not know in what sense they are supposed to "worsen diabetes" and how exactly the statement sounded. Metformin is a medicine used in diabetes, but no medicine will do everything for the patient. Diabetes is a disease that requires attachment and permanent changes in eating habits and physical activity. You can read more here: Yes, metformin is prescribed when a patient has prediabetes. However, please remember that the drug is an additive, and the basis of therapy regardless of the antidiabetic drugs used is a permanent change of eating habits and physical activity.
