To @Kari: it is difficult for me to answer - my suggestion was intuitive and resulted from the form and composition of both products. I do not think that anyone has studied the permeability of Zinerit through the layer of a cosmetic like Cetaphil. There is also no strict instruction on the order of use for both preparations. If the dermatologist recommends a specific course of action - then please follow it, because it is probably due to his experience with the use of these two products. Perhaps the doctor thinks that it is more appropriate to "prepare" the skin with a cosmetic and apply Zineryt after 15 minutes.

And if these products are used in the reverse order first Zineryt later cream, will the effect of Zineryt be less? The dermatologist recommended that I first use the cream and wait 15 minutes before applying Zineryt but due to the method of applying Zineryt (direct contact of the applicator with the skin) I have doubts

Cetaphil PS Lipoactive Moisturizing Cream contains petroleum jelly, silicones and vegetable oils, i.e. barrier substances - in my opinion, it should therefore be used as a second layer.
