Taking the medicine after the expiry date may cause the medicine to not work properly. The durability, i.e. the stability of the active substance, is no longer maintained and a lower dose of the substance may enter the bloodstream - which may not be satisfactory. In addition, the risk of side effects from the digestive system, e.g. abdominal pain, vomiting or diarrhea, increases. However, it is not a life-threatening condition. Please observe your body, and in case of any disturbing symptoms - consult a doctor.
