Octenisept is not intended for vaginal irrigation. According to the information from the manufacturer, "for disinfecting purposes, Octenisept can moisten the surfaces of the vaginal mucosa, ensuring contact of the drug with the mucous membrane for a minimum of 1 minute. Numerous clinical trials have shown that Octenisept is bactericidal effective on various bacteria m.in Gram positive and Gram negative." However, there is no mention of irrigation and whether it is safe to do so. If, despite everything, you decide on such a "procedure", it is worth consulting your gynecologist before performing it.
