Good morning, two weeks ago I started using evra contraceptive patches. Tomorrow I stick 3 patches and so far the bleeding has not stopped. Should I put the patches away?

Prolonged or irregular bleeding are very common side effects of contraceptive patches, which occur especially at the beginning of use. The body needs time to "adapt" to hormonal changes occurring under the influence of hormones contained in contraceptive patches. This period usually lasts about 3-4 months. If the symptoms do not disappear after this time, you can go to your gynecologist and, for example, discontinue the patches or use another method of hormonal contraception.
