Good morning, I started using the vaginal probiotic InVag. Immediately after applying the capsule, there is pain in the lower abdomen and vagina (on the 1st and 2nd day). After taking 3 tablets, there was a very strong back pain on the left side. Is there a possibility that such side effects may occur after the InVag probiotic? If so, should I discontinue the use? Thank you very much in advance for your reply!

InVag is a gynecological probiotic used topically to replenish the vaginal microflora. The capsule should be placed deep in the vagina while observing all the rules of personal hygiene. We apply at night, before bedtime. Before application, it is good to moisten the capsule to facilitate slipping and correct placement. As for the side effects of InVag are: vaginal discharge, itching, burning at the application site, pain in the lower abdomen, spotting, swelling and redness of the labia, disorder of the kidneys and urinary tract (tachuria, urge to urinate). More information about the drug: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/38124/invag-kapsulki-dopochwowe/apteki It is also worth verifying that back and lower abdomen pain is not caused by a possible vaginal infection. The consequence of inflammation may be intensified pains in the lower abdomen, hips, groin, radiating towards the rectum, as well as intense pains of a systolic nature. If the pain is bothersome and unbearable - you should stop using the drug and go to a specialist doctor, that is, a gynecologist. Only after performing appropriate tests and an interview will it be possible to check what is the cause of your problem.
