The conditional marketing authorisation for Paxlovid was changed to a full marketing authorisation on 24 February 2023. Currently, this drug can be purchased with a prescription at the pharmacy. On the attached page below you can check the availability of the drug in pharmacies in your area and make a reservation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/113862/paxlovid-tabletki/apteki

The availability category of the preparation "drug intended for use in outpatient treatment" means that it is possible to administer the preparation only as part of the so-called outpatient healthcare. The patient does not have to be around the clock in a medical institution (e.g. a hospital), but can only come for specific examinations or treatments. In this particular case, it is the administration of the drug by authorized personnel in a given medical institution. Paxlovid, the drug marked in the tags, has been authorised conditionally and it is likely that its use on an outpatient basis is to improve the safety of therapy and increase control over possible side effects resulting from the use of the preparation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/113862/paxlovid-tabletki/apteki
