Can the antibiotic cetix weaken the effect of contraception?

Good morning, I accept Drovelis. I have been using the antibiotic Cetix for several days. I had slight bleeding/spotting. Can taking this antibiotic translate into the effectiveness of the tablet? If so, how long should I use the extra protection? Thank you in advance for the information.

The antibiotic Cetix may reduce the effectiveness of hormonal contraception. Therefore, you should additionally protect yourself with a condom throughout the course of antibiotic therapy and 7 days after its completion.
