How is Dupaston used? Does Duphaston affect ovulation?

I have a question about duphaston my cycles last 22-25 days and the doctor recommended me to take duphaston from 11-20 dc due to the fact that I have spotting in the 2nd phase of the cycle just wonder if it is not a little too early? Won't this block ovulation?

Duphaston should be used exactly as your doctor has told you. The doctor determines the dose of the drug and the day of the cycle in which the preparation should be used.
