No, Acidolac Caps and Sanprobi IBS are not their replacements. The dietary supplement Acidolac caps contains the bacteria Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis BIFOLAC 12, i.e. freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria. The effectiveness of this strain has been confirmed in antibiotic diarrhea, acute infectious diarrhea, functional constipation, as well as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The Sanprobi IBS dietary supplement contains Lactobacillus plantarum 299v with proven effectiveness in relieving the symptoms of irritable bowel, in particular abdominal pain and flatulence.
