Do I need to use Clatra for a certain period of time?

Good morning, I received Clatra for an allergic reaction, 2 x 1. Unfortunately, after the second tablet I started to feel worse, i.e. weakness, numbness, etc. I wanted to ask whether it is safe and permissible to stop this type of medication, which was prescribed for 14 days, or not too, as in the case of antibiotics, where should the whole series be finished? Thank you.

Clatra is an antihistamine used m.in to relieve the symptoms of hay fever, itchy skin rashes. The minimum, as well as the maximum duration of the prescribed therapy is not specified: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/18223/clatra-20-mg-tabletki/ulotka/192036 Due to the fact that it is usually recommended to use the drug 1 time per day, I encourage you to consult your doctor. Increasing the usual dose of the drug suggests a strong allergic reaction. Perhaps it will be recommended to change the antihistamine preparation to another. I also encourage you to report the occurrence of an adverse reaction of the drug. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
