Is there a replacement for Ozmepic 0.5mg? today I used the last dose and in a week I will not be able to continue treatment due to the difficult availability of the drug, which I can not buy despite having a prescription. Consultation with the attending physician only in a month and only then will he be able to assign me something else. I would like to make an appointment for a consultation with another doctor and tell him about the replacement. and one more thing. In ozmepic for injection there is always +1 dose. what needles do I need to buy to be able to use the super-measure dose of the drug?

In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

Yes, there is an alternative to Ozempic injections. Changing the drug, due to a different way of use, however, requires consultation with a doctor. These are Rybelsus tablets that contain the same substance (semaglutide) and have slightly better availability than Ozempic injections. To answer your second question, the needles that come with Ozempic are NovoFine Plus. I am attaching the leaflet to Rybelsus: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/111644/rybelsus-tabletki/ulotka
